Education & training
We also aim to fulfil our objectives as a charity by funding a range of initiatives in the field of laboratory animal science. We provide grants to individuals who wish to attend training courses, we fund speakers at scientific meetings, and we provide financial assistance for workshops, courses and other events in a variety of topics related to laboratory animal science, technology and welfare.
FELASA and other scientific organisations have also received subsidies for publishing key topics in laboratory animal science, making these materials freely available to the laboratory animal science community. These include translations of guidelines, European laws and regulations and the like into other languages than English.
